Paris Saint-Germain striker Kevin Gameiro has revealed he is involved in negotiating a move to Sevilla.
The French international scored eight times in 25 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last term but told L’Equipe after PSG’s friendly with Rapid Vienna that he sees his future as being away from the Parc des Princes.
“Yes, I’m talking to Sevilla because I want to play more. I’m not going to deny it. If my role here is merely as a substitute then I need to make the decision to continue my career somewhere else.
“I want to play football, I need to score goals. It’s less than a year to the World Cup and that’s one of my aims,” admitted the 26-year-old.
The former Lorient and Strasbourg forward disclosed that Fenerbahce, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and several other teams have all shown interest in him, although he would prefer a move to La Liga.
“I have opportunities everywhere, but it’s true my preference is for Spain,” he confessed.
