Goals from Juan Rodriguez and Alvaro Vazquez were enough to give Getafe a 2-1 win against Athletic Bilbao at San Mames.
Marcelo Bielsa's men were looking to kick start their campaign after a poor start, but things didn't go quite to plan in the opening exchanges.
After only 11 minutes, a free-kick from Pedro Leon found Rodriguez, who headed in from 12 yards to give the away team the lead.
Los Leones slowly started to get into the game however, and could have equalised midway through the half, only for Aritz Aduriz to head over the bar from close-range.
Despite all their good work however, the Azulones doubled their lead on the hour mark as Vazquezs struck from 12 yards out.
Fernando Llorente almost pulled one back with a header late on, but Mikel San Jose did exactly that with the very last kick of the game. It was not enough though, and the away side held out for an invaluable three points and condemned the Basque club to their fifth defeat of the season
